iRT Wheels has gained much reputation as a cycling workhorse since it’s inception in 2010 for producing carbon racing wheels that are hand built in its Los Angeles, California headquarters. In 2013, iRT Wheels announced its commitment to bring manufacturing jobs back to the United States. Since that announcement of the Reshoring Initiative, more than 80% of all iRT’s components for its road, cyclocross, and mountain bike wheels are now produced by US companies.
iRT Wheels has also contributed to the success of many renowned elite teams such as the iRT Racing Mens Professional Team, KHS-Maxxis Racing, Stage 17/BMW Development Racing, and SDG-Felt Cyclocross Team, as well as United Healthcare’s Hilton Clarke and Adrian Hegyvary, and US Paralympian Samantha Bosco for track. Its Northern California elite women’s team iRT-Reactor recently had the honor of participating in the Inaugural Women’s Circuit Race at the 2014 Amgen Tour of California.
